AQUA Vietnam wants to have a business intelligence dashboard to show all the status of performances, operations and finance of their 3 factories with data getting from different data sources such as WMS system, SAP, HRM system, Excel files.
Our Approach & Solutions
Our IT Business Analyst works closely with AQUA IT Director, Factory Manager, Sales, Accountant, Production Planning & Control Departments to define the rules of calculation of all KPI and how to retrieve the data from other systems such as: SAP, WMS, Excel file. Then, we provide software requirements specification to IT Director to get approval.
The system contains:
- A web application to show all the charts, dashboard for KPI.
- ETL Web services middleware to integrate with the other systems and to control, schedule the data retrieval/transformation process.

High Level
Features
Below are features that we have to implement in order to show the charts:
- Master Data: Item Management, G/L Account Management, Currency & Exchange Rate, Actual Production Loss %
- Users & Permission Management. Different role will have different permission in the system (Accountant, Admin, Factory Manager, Procurement)
- Single Sign On: AQUA is using Microsoft 365 that’s why it is required.
- ETL Web services middleware to integrate with the other systems and to control, schedule the data retrieval/transformation process.
- Different dashboard for KPIs: Factory Material Margin (for 3 factories), Product & Material Detail table of Revenue, COGS & Margin, Production Quantity & Forecast.
